Part 2587pb09 is a dark red LEGO® minifigure breastplate from the Castle Knights Kingdom II sub-theme, appearing in three sets released in 2005: 8802 Dark Fortress Landing, 8876 Scorpion Prison Cave, and 8877 Vladek's Dark Fortress.

The front face carries a Vladek Scorpion print: a silver and white heraldic scorpion with raised claws at the top, a segmented body with black horizontal stripe detailing, and a curled tail and stinger that form a circular shape at the base of the chest panel. The print is centred on the chest and rendered in a flat heraldic style against the dark red mould. The shoulder flanges and leg guard panels are unprinted.

Vladek Scorpion Breastplate – Mould and Print Detail

The piece uses the standard 2587 breastplate mould with a central connection socket at the top fitting over the minifigure torso stud. Shoulder pauldron flanges extend on each side. The split leg guard section covers the minifigure hips and upper legs. All print detail is on the front chest face only. The reverse is plain dark red and unprinted.
